About the event
What: A Professional Certification Program in Recognizing and Treating Child Sexual Abuse (CSA), and its Long-Term Impacts.
Who: Licensed Mental Health Professionals. Applicants must be a licensed mental health professional. Proof of a current, active, individual state license to independently provide clinical mental health services is required. Licensure can be in one of the following general practice disciplines: counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychiatry, psychology, or social work.
Educational Requirements: Completion of program modules 1-5 and at least 1 supplemental training– totaling 33 educational hours. Continuing education credits available for NYS social workers and MHCs! Supervised Clinical Experience Program applicants are required to complete 10 hours of clinical supervision with a Healing Foundations approved supervisor. Supervision must be completed in tandem with participation in the training modules. Supervision fees are separate from program module pricing. Fees vary based on supervisor.
