Keri Wheelwright
Intern
Master's Level Clinical Counseling Intern
Keri is a graduate counseling intern at Wholesome Healing. She is currently completing her Master of Science in Clinical Professional Counseling at Loyola University Maryland. Keri completed undergraduate degrees in Family Science and in Psychology. Prior to clinical counseling, Keri built an extensive career in child-focused education and program leadership, including directing and managing developmental programs for young children and families. This background deeply informs her clinical work and supports a strong foundation in child development, family systems, and the creation of safe, nurturing environments for growth. During her internship, Keri is actively pursuing specialized training in Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) and is committed to developing the skills required for future credentialing in this specialty.
Keri approaches therapy with warmth, intentionality, and a strong belief in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship. Keri is passionate about creating a therapeutic space where children feel understood, empowered, and emotionally supported. She values collaboration with caregivers and believes that meaningful change occurs when children, families, and clinicians work together in a compassionate and developmentally responsive way.
Keri is currently practicing under the supervision of Mary Beth Naish.
